Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is opening a new Canadian store in Ottawa and is interviewing candidates for the Delivery Driver role. You will deliver warm cookies and other treats, provide friendly service, and help create a great customer experience in the neighborhood.

Candidates must own a vehicle, have insurance, a clean driving record, a G2 or higher with two years of driving, and fluent English. Knowledge of York University area a plus. A lit topper on the car is required while on shift.

Qualifications

• Must own a vehicle.
• Must have insurance in your own name.
• Must have a recent, clear driver's abstract from MTO.
• Must have a minimum G2 with 2 years driving experience.
• Read and write fluent English and be able to perform simple math calculations for customer payments.
• Knowledge of the 5KM radius around York University is a plus.
• Must have a lit topper on the car while on the clock.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver cookies, milk and ice cream to our fans in a timely and safe fashion.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in-person or by phone.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app and provide accurate status updates to customers.
