Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Kingston, ON is seeking a Cookie Crew Delivery Driver to bring warm cookies and smiles to customers in the local area. This role combines delivering orders with occasional bakery duties, working on a flexible part-time schedule.

You'll need a reliable, insured vehicle, a valid MTO record, and a 2+ year G2 driving history. Fluency in English and basic math help ensure smooth payments and great service.

Qualifications

• Must own a vehicle and have insurance in your own name.
• Must have a recent, clear drivers abstract from MTO.
• Must have a minimum G2 with 2 years driving experience.
• Read and write fluent English and be able to perform simple math calculations for payments.
• Knowledge of the 5KM radius around York University is a plus.
• Must have a lit topper on the car while on the clock.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver cookies, milk and ice cream to customers in a timely and safe fashion.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers.
• Use Insomnia's delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Deliver orders safely and with a smile.
• Navigate using GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices.
• Assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing delivery and pickup orders.
• Help bake and package cookies and other treats as needed.
• Operate the register and process guest transactions.
• Keep the bakery clean, stocked, and food-safe.
• Work with the bakery team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately.
