Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is opening a Hamilton store and seeking a Delivery Driver to bring warm treats to fans in a timely, friendly manner. You will check orders, deliver cookies, milk and ice cream, and provide excellent customer service in-person or by phone.

Must own a vehicle with current insurance, a clean MTO driving record (G2 with 2+ years), and be fluent in English. A lit topper on the car is required while on the clock. Flexible part-time hours offered.

Qualifications

• Must own a vehicle.
• Must have insurance in your own name.
• Must have a recent, clear drivers abstract from MTO.
• Must have a minimum G2 with 2 years driving experience.
• Read and write fluent English and be able to perform simple math calculations for customer payments.
• Knowledge of the 5KM radius around York University a plus.
• Must have a lit topper on the car while on the clock.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fan base, in a timely and safe fashion.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.

We’re now very excited to bring our late-night favourite to Ontario and we are actively interviewing candidates for the DELIVERY DRIVER role at our newly opening Hamilton, ON store!
