Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Delivery Driver for the North Edmonton, AB region to deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service from store to door.

You will work with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve issues, while upholding safety standards, maintaining the vehicle, and delivering in all weather day and night. Join a team committed to Always Customer First Service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform deliveries in all weather.
• Proficiency with mobile technology and GPS apps.
• Valid AB driver’s license and clean abstract.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries using a van and provide outstanding customer service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve issues.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely and maintain it clean.
• Be available for day and night deliveries.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver for our Save-On-Foods locations in the North Edmonton, AB region.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from AB.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both day and night.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
