Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Chilliwack, BC is hiring a Delivery Driver to join our growing fulfillment team and support online shopping operations.

You will deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service, coordinating with the online shopping team and service center to resolve issues and ensure orders are fulfilled on time.

Qualifications

• A valid, full class 5 BC driver's license.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and 'let's get it done' attitude.
• Proficiency using mobile tech including GPS apps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and service center for returns/refunds issues.
• Meet operational standards for Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely following road rules.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle in clean, roadworthy condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods locations in Chilliwack, BC.

Responsibilities

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from BC.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
