Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd. is hiring a Full-Time Delivery Driver to join our Ottawa team. You will be responsible for timely, safe delivery of fresh produce across Ottawa and surrounding areas using a 5 Tonne Truck.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service and on-time performance in a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates have a valid Ontario G license, a clean CVOR and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar transportation role preferred.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License (G or equivalent).
• Clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract required.
• Physically capable of lifting/moving up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Must be flexible to Mon-Fri 5:30 am–3:30 pm, with occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled deliveries of fresh produce to Foodservice customers (restaurants, institutions, etc.).
• Safely operate and maintain a 5 Tonne Truck on urban and regional routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance.
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety protocols including load security.
• Provide exceptional customer service at drop-offs and collect required documentation.
• Accurately track deliveries and maintain logs.

Fresh Start Foods is hiring a Full-Time Delivery Driver to join our Ottawa team.

As a 5 Tonne Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of food products throughout Ottawa, Ontario and the surrounding areas. This is a permanent position in a fast-paced environment where safety and customer service are paramount.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $21.00 per hour
• Schedule: Full-Time, permanent, Monday-Saturday (5:30 am - 3:30 pm) with Sunday and a weekday off

Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do

• Execute scheduled deliveries of fresh produce to Foodservice customers (restaurants, institutions, etc.).
• Safely operate and maintain a 5 Tonne Truck (Straight Truck) on urban and regional routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring transportation and logistics compliance.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols, including load security and handling procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and collect necessary documentation.
• Accurately track deliveries and maintain electronic or paper logs as required.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar transportation role is highly preferred.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License (G or equivalent).
• Clean commercial vehicle operator's registration (CVOR) and Driver's Abstract (Must be provided).
• Physical capability to lift and move up to 50 lbs frequently during the loading and delivery process.
• Flexibility to work the required schedule (Mon-Fri, 5:30 am - 3:30 pm), with availability for occasional Saturdays.
