Job summary

GC Flooring is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our Ottawa team. You will operate a company delivery truck to transport flooring products across the Greater Ottawa Area, loading and unloading materials and delivering to residential and commercial locations.

The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, Ontario license, and a strong focus on safety and customer service. Occasional warehouse duties and site pickups are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must provide a clean driving record
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence
• Good knowledge of Ottawa and surrounding areas
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Ability to safely lift and carry flooring materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Previous delivery or commercial driving experience is an asset
• Experience handling flooring and building materials is an asset
• Forklift experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery truck to transport flooring products throughout the Greater Ottawa Area and surrounding communities.
• Load, unload, and properly handle flooring materials, ensuring products are protected from damage.
• Deliver products to residential and commercial locations.
• Pick up and deliver materials from suppliers to job sites, customers and our warehouse.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding deliveries and any issues that may arise.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns, keeping the delivery truck clean, organized, and in good condition.
• Assist with warehouse duties and other tasks as required.

Duties

• Safely operate a company delivery truck to transport flooring products throughout the Greater Ottawa Area and surrounding communities.

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
