Job summary

Advance Furniture Distribution, located in Burnside, serves as the distribution centre for our showrooms. Rank Group seeks a Delivery Driver to join our professional delivery team.

Responsibilities include packing and loading, delivering to customers on routes, and helping in the warehouse; emphasis on safe, timely and courteous service. Qualifications include valid Class 5 license, experience preferred, lifting 50+ lbs, reliable and team player; training available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license.
• Experience with commercial driving preferred.
• Experience with furniture deliveries is an asset; training available.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs safely.
• Strong customer service and professionalism.
• Reliable and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Pack and load products onto trucks and ensure orders are accurate.
• Deliver products safely and on time to customers on predefined routes.
• Move merchandise into customers’ homes efficiently and safely.
• Provide an exceptional delivery experience through professionalism.
• Work in warehouse as needed.

Advance Furniture Distribution, located in Burnside, serves as the distribution centre for our showrooms. AFD is currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our professional delivery team.

• Packing and loading product onto trucks; ensuring accuracy of orders;
• Ensuring safe and timely delivery of product to predetermined customers on specific routes;
• Maneuvering merchandise into customer’s homes in an efficient and safe manner;
• Providing an exceptional delivery experience for customers through professionalism and superior customer service;
• Working in warehouse.

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s
• Previous commercial driving experience is preferred
• Previous experience with furniture deliveries a strong asset (but willing to train)
• Ability to consistently lift 50+ lbs in a safe manner
• Exceptional customer service skills and professionalism
