Job summary

Freson Bros. in Hinton, AB is seeking a full-time Deli Cold Supervisor to manage daily deli operations at our Hinton Valley location.

You will lead the Cold Deli team, ensuring product quality, safety, and exceptional customer service during peak hours. You will train and coach staff, coordinate with the Deli Department Manager, and uphold strict food safety standards while delivering a positive shopping experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience as a deli, kitchen, or restaurant supervisor is preferred.
• Knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation and food safety regulations is required.
• A passion for leading, coaching, and training others while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to operational standards

We are hiring for a Full-Time Deli Cold Supervisor with a wage of $21.00 at our location in Hinton, AB. (Hinton Valley location)

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare food according to operational standards

• Provide assistance to Deli Department Manager as needed

• Ordering and receiving deli products and inventory

• Ensure Cold Deli Department is properly cleaned and sanitized

• Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures

• Prepare special orders as per customers request

• Team Member training and coaching to achieve operational standards

• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience

What you Bring:

• Experience as a deli, kitchen, or restaurant supervisor is preferred

• Knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation and food safety regulations is required

• A passion for leading, coaching, and training others while providing an exceptional customer experience

• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks

• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

• Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
