Job summary

Prairie Co-operative Limited is seeking a Casual Deli Clerk for our Food Centre in Fort Qu'Appelle, SK. Join a team that values customer service and teamwork while maintaining deli displays and product quality.

You will handle wrapping, pricing and stocking, ensure case temperatures and sanitation standards, and assist with inventory replenishment. Weekend shifts are available to fit staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Frontline customer service experience is preferred.
• Reliable team player with strong communication.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a deli environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the deli counter.
• Prepare, wrap, price and stock deli products as required.
• Maintain display and shelf standards for all deli items.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and case temperatures.
• Follow sanitation and personal hygiene policies.
• Notify supervisor for replenishment and markdown reporting.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

What you'll do

• Responsible to provide an exceptional level of customer service and maintain a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.
• Prepare, wrap, price and stock product as required and assigned.
• Maintain and display all types of deli products according to standards.
• Provide proper maintenance of equipment, monitor case temperatures and clean equipment regularly.
• Adhere to all sanitation and personal hygiene policies
• Advise the manager when orders for replenishment of inventory is required and to keep proper Mark-down Reports.
• Any other duties as assigned
