Job summary

RONA in Brampton is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member to ensure smooth, accurate flow of products from delivery to shelves. The role uses forklift and related equipment to move merchandise and maintain inventory accuracy.

The position requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork, with responsibilities including scheduling deliveries, processing paperwork, and supporting store operations to keep customers’ shelves ready.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate store equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, scanner)
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with material handling equipment is an asset

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
