Job summary

Valmetal is seeking a daytime Daytime Assembler to ensure smooth project workflow from reading plans to assembly. You will calibrate welding devices, assemble and weld parts, and move components with a positioner or cranes while maintaining quality and safety.

In this role you read drawings, verify welding symbols, and keep meticulous records. Ideal candidates have a DEP or equivalent and up to 2 years welding experience; crane certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• DEP welding and assembly or equivalent.
• 0–2 years welding or similar experience.
• Overhead crane operator card is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings or welding specifications.
• Calibrate welding device and assemble parts.
• Weld parts and inspect quality.
• Move parts using a positioner or cranes.
• Support activities of other departments and meet schedules.
