Job summary

Valmetal is seeking a daytime assembler in Saint-Germain-de-Grantham to read production orders and drawings, start up equipment, and assemble parts for our high-performance farm equipment lines. You will operate saws, drills, and other machines, prepare parts for painting, and ensure quality by visual inspection and measurements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience reading production orders and drawings.
• Experience with lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate various production machines (saws, shears, drill presses, etc.).
• Prepare parts for painting (liquid and electrostatic).
• Paint parts with electrostatic powder paint.
• Remove parts from skeletons using the laser.
• Visually inspect parts and measure against templates.
• Support activities of other departments.
• Perform other production-related tasks as required.

Manual and in good physical shape and love to operate production machinery such as saws, shears, drill presses, etc.? Are you meticulous and interested in painting parts with electrostatic powder paint? We have the perfect day laborer position for you!

Duties and responsibilities

• Operate various production machines such as saws, shears, drill presses, etc.
• Prepare parts for painting (liquid and electrostatic)
• Paint parts with electrostatic powder paint
• Remove parts from skeletons using the laser
• Visually inspect the quality of parts and measure them against the templates
• Help support the activities of other departments
• Perform all other production-related tasks as required
