Max Atlas in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is seeking a welder for the day shift to support chassis manufacturing. You will interpret welding plans and symbols, ensure work meets established standards, and collaborate with a manufacturing team to maintain quality and safety.

The role requires DEP in welding or equivalent experience, ability to read technical drawings, recognize welding defects, adjust welding parameters, and pass the practical welding exam. Slinger certification is an asset.

As a welder, you will play an important role in the manufacturing of our chassis. You will be required to interpret welding plans and symbols and ensure that your work meets established standards. Qualifications

• Hold a vocational studies diploma (DEP) in welding or relevant experience related to the position.
• Understanding technical drawings and being able to read plans.
• Understanding welding symbols.
• Recognizing welding defects.
• Use and interpret measuring instruments.
• Adjust the welding parameters according to the specifications.
• Handle parts and assemblies safely.
• Pass the practical welding exam.
• Having training and certification as a slinger (an asset).
