Job summary
Randstad Canada is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate/Material Handler in Markham for an active, full-time temporary role. You will balance 70% housekeeping with 30% material handling, loading/unloading shipments and using a counterbalance forklift when required. Strong independence and safety focus are essential.
The position offers 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shifts, weekly pay, and on-site parking. Availability for immediate start is preferred, with potential extension based on performance.
Qualifications
- Manual shipping/receiving or general warehouse experience.
- Counterbalance forklift certification is a strong asset.
- CSA-approved steel-toed safety shoes required.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable personal vehicle recommended for Markham facility.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada for the contract duration.
Responsibilities
- 70% of shift dedicated to warehouse housekeeping, cleaning, and maintaining waste zones.
- 30% of shift on core material handling duties including receiving inventory, sorting parts, and order picking/packing.
- Load and unload shipments, operate forklift as needed.
- Maintain high accuracy in inventory control, shipping/receiving, and data logging.
- Follow health and safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
