Job summary

Sofina Foods Inc. is seeking Shipping Material Handlers for our Distribution Center at Brampton, Ontario. This night shift position runs from 9:00 pm to 5:30 am with progressive hourly pay and annual increases per the collective agreement.

The role includes picking orders, loading/unloading, operating MHE, maintaining inventory, and keeping a clean, safe workspace in a cold environment. Part-time hours vary, with opportunities for growth within our logistics team.

Qualifications

• English verbal and written communication required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid licenses and experience with Stand-up Counterbalance, Reach, Rider and Dock Stocker.
• Practical testing to be performed prior to start.
• Attention to detail, multitasking, and ownership.
• Team player with leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Availability to work 8 to 24 hours per week.
• Flexible to work any days between Monday to Friday.
• Place various products into designated storage areas.
• Pick orders using the scanning system and stage loads.
• Maintain inventory.
• Load/unload trailers and containers as required.
• Operate reach truck, rider and dock stocker – MHE training required.
• Maintain housekeeping.
• Perform other warehouse related duties as assigned by the Distribution Supervisor and/or their designate.

Shift Time

Night Sift (9:00 pm to 5:30 am)

What we have to offer

• $24.79/hour to start - $26.17/hour after 6 months - $27.55/ hour after 1 year

• Annual Increases based on Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Part Time Position, varying hours may apply
