Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Production Operator for the Burlington, ON area. The role involves setting up and running high-speed filling and packaging equipment, performing changeovers, and ensuring quality and documentation compliance in a GMP environment.

Day shift operates 7:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and is contract to hire. Training will be provided on the assigned shift in a temperature-controlled, onsite facility with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of machine operation on a production line.
• Experience in setup and changeover of production line machinery.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with mechanical adjustments and minor repairs.
• Experience in GMP or a regulated production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform changeovers on production line machinery (filling, bottling, capping, labelling, packaging).
• Operate conveyors and multiple components to maintain smooth production flow.
• Troubleshoot machinery issues and adjust speeds, heights, and settings.
• Perform minor repairs using hand tools and document downtime and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, GMP-compliant work area and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team to coordinate line operations and meet targets.
