Job summary

Agrisan in Arthur, Ontario is seeking a Production Worker – Filling/Packaging (Day Shift) to join a hands-on manufacturing team. You will operate filling and packaging equipment, ensure quality, and help maintain GMP and safety standards.

This full-time, permanent role offers on-site work with a day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and opportunities to learn chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing in a small, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical work (standing, lifting up to 50 lb, repetitive motion).
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift experience is an asset (not required).

Responsibilities

• Operate filling and packaging equipment (scales, pumps, fillers, labelers).
• Fill, label, package, and palletize finished products.
• Set up equipment and stage materials for production runs.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and report issues.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Work closely with the Quality team on sampling and adjustments.
• Follow all SOPs, GMP, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.

Shift & Work Environment

• Day shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Occasional overtime available
• Work in an industrial manufacturing environment (noise, PPE required, chemical handling)

About the Role

You'll be part of a hands-on manufacturing team producing specialty chemical and pharmaceutical products. This is an active role involving equipment operation, packaging, and maintaining high quality and safety standards.
