Job summary

Fleming and Baron, part of the ASSA ABLOY group, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the Accounting Department at its Woodbridge, Ontario facility. You will partner with business leadership to drive financial results, manage budgets and forecasts, and ensure timely, accurate reporting.

We value IFRS expertise, experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards/Hyperion a plus), and a strong accounting background in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with IFRS and financial statement presentation.
• Experience with multiple ERP systems; JD Edwards and Hyperion are assets.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute daily activities of the Accounting Department to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Drive financial results with business leaders and optimize performance.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and operating metrics.
• Review monthly close including analytical review of results.
• Ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations; maintain internal controls.
