ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic engineering team. As a DBA, you will be responsible for managing RDBMS and NoSQL solutions, optimizing performance, implementing replication and high availability, and providing support to development teams. Troubleshooting and problem-solving will be a key part of your role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
• Performance tuning
• Implement and manage replication, high availability, partitioning / sharding
• Assist development teams in creating, optimizing, and problem-solving with RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
• Troubleshooting

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
• Expert-level experience with at least one of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Familiarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions
• Strong command of SQL (DDL, DML, DCL)
• Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms
• Proficiency in Linux
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• A plus if: Experience with Python or Bash scripting. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling
