Job Overview:

We are seeking a Data Visualization Specialist to join our team and transform complex data into compelling visual insights. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards across our business units. You will extract and mine data from various sources, creating intuitive and interactive dashboards that showcase KPIs and drive decision-making. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver analytics that optimize operational performance and highlight key trends. You will also collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure dashboards are aligned with business needs and deliver actionable insights that drive process improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and build visually appealing dashboards that track KPIs and business metrics.
  • Extract, clean, and mine large data sets and transform raw data into meaningful visualizations.
  • Design reports that present complex data in a clear, user-friendly format for different teams.
  • Automate reports to enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Optimize reporting tools and processes for increased efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with various teams to understand their analytics needs and translate them into effective data visualizations.
  • Continuously improve dashboard functionality and data visualization techniques.
  • Prior experience with ERP platforms, especially Sage 300 or Sage X3, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Sage Business Intelligence tools, such as Sage Data & Analytics (SD&A) or Graphical Query Tool, is an asset.
  • Experience developing and implementing business reports and forms using Crystal Reports is preferred.

Recipe for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or data analytics roles.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other BI platforms.
  • Strong experience in data management, including querying databases (SQL) and handling large datasets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver clear insights.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey data-driven insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
