Job summary

The Database Reports Analyst at Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak (MKO) will maintain client data in the secure MCRT database, generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and ensure data accuracy and privacy compliance with PHIA, FIPPA, and OCAP. The role requires collaboration with management, frontline staff, and service providers, with potential off-site assignments during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business, database administration, or administrative fields is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and related productivity tools.
• Ability to disseminate information for data entry and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with PHIA.
• Collaborate with frontline service providers to gather client data (e.g., full name, date of birth, 10-digit Certificate of Indian Status number, service provider name, and service dates).
• Develop a strong understanding of the MCRT database and its functionalities.
• Participate in database training, updates, and provide feedback on technical issues.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in collaboration with the Program Manager.
• Ensure data completeness and accuracy prior to database entry.
• Acquire additional information from frontline staff to obtain missing data components.
• Work inclusively with gender-diverse individuals, persons with disabilities, and Elders.
• Travel may be required during States of Emergency supports; off-site assignments are possible.
• MKO is a political advocacy organization; staff may be assigned other duties to fulfill the mandate.
