Job summary

Zynga, a global leader in interactive entertainment, seeks a Senior Director, Data Platform to lead our centralized data platform and product strategy from Toronto. You will oversee billions of events in a cloud-native stack, partner with executives, and empower studios worldwide with data-driven AI capabilities.

You will manage a diverse team, drive governance, and shape a long-term, AI-first data platform. Relocation support is available as needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in data or software engineering, including 8+ years leading and scaling engineering organizations.
• Executive leadership with global, matrixed teams across studios, labels, and executives.
• Hands-on IC background earlier in career, capable of architectural calls in a modern cloud data stack.

Responsibilities

• Define, roadmap, and execute the data product strategy for Zynga’s centralized data products.
• Champion an AI-first approach and enable AI/ML capabilities across teams.
• Manage and grow a global team of ~60 across NA, Israel, and India.
• Establish robust data governance and compliance for a massive global footprint.
• Guide organizational change while maintaining global alignment and effective processes.
