Job summary

Spring Financial is seeking a Data Platform Engineer II in downtown Vancouver. You will deliver reliable, scalable data infrastructure across AWS and Snowflake, owning end-to-end data platform components and collaborating with Finance, Risk, Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to meet business needs.

You will apply AI-enabled practices in testing, schema discovery, and code generation, contributing to automated QA and anomaly detection within the platform.

Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines using Snowflake and AWS-native tools.
• Experience with real-time data systems (Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, Spark Streaming).
• Fluency in Python and SQL; exposure to infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform or CDK).
• Strong communication and collaboration with engineering and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and platform components across AWS and Snowflake.
• Scope and deliver initiatives to modernize data flows and enable self-serve analytics.
• Apply testing, observability, security, and CI/CD standards within data systems.
