Company 3 is seeking a swing shift Data Technician who possesses thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail. The goal is to build and maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the role of technology in business sustainability.
The Data I/O Technician will create andmaintaindescriptive, technical, and structural metadata for digital content, as well as process incoming client-supplied content and outgoing work deliveries to keep the data flow moving efficiently.They will maintain a current andaccurateunderstanding of all work-in-progress in the production and delivery areas to ensure on-time andaccuratedelivery of content, and manage Hard Drive, FTP, Aspera, Signiant andSmartjogdelivery mechanisms.They will also be responsible for the following:
The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux operating systems andshell-basedtools, as well as production tools including DaVinci Resolve,AutoDeskFlame and Avid.
