VFX Production Coordinator

Pay Range
  • $20.00 - $23.00 CAD hourly
Position Summary

The Coordinator works directly with VFX Supervisors and VFX Producers to track the progress of shots between teams, coordinate daily reviews, and anticipate delivery deadlines. The Coordinator is reliable, a positive communicator, and adaptable with quick turnarounds.

Main Duties
  • The VFX Coordinator will coordinate and log Dailies, coordinate with other departments to efficiently allocate resources across projects, and liaise between artists, producers, and supervisors.
  • They will reflect status changes and shot progress throughout project duration and support the production management team with ad hoc projects/tasks.
  • Manage deliverables directly with internal Editorial Team.
  • Manage all Outsourcing to external vendors.
  • Capture client feedback during review sessions.
What You Bring
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of project management software including Word and Excel, prior working experience with production tracking software (preferably Shotgrid), and be capable of working as part of a team and independently.
  • Must have a high level of initiative, flexibility, and confidentiality.
  • General understanding of post-production process and work created in software used for Compositing, 3D Modeling, Animation, and VFX.
  • Expertise in maintaining positive customer relationships through written communication with external clients.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
