The role focuses on establishing governance frameworks, delivering training, and communicating policies across the organization; you will bridge technical data management and business operations.

Candidates should bring 5+ years in data governance, strong communication, and experience with MS Purview, MS Fabric, and Power BI; this is a contract

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data governance, data management, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience developing training materials and delivering training sessions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement data governance framework, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
• Establish data governance operating models, including roles, responsibilities, and quality control processes.
• Create and maintain data governance documentation, including policies, standards, procedures and work aids.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data governance requirements and develop tailored solutions.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the data governance program.
• Develop training materials and curricula for various audiences.
• Deliver training sessions to educate stakeholders on data governance principles, policies, and procedures.
• Create awareness campaigns to promote data governance and best practices.
