As a Data Engineer, you will provide hands-on expertise in data management, analytics, and business intelligence. This role offers an opportunity to utilize your technical, software, and cloud engineering skills.

While working with teams in an Agile environment, your responsibilities will include:

1. Designing scalable and extensible data pipelines and architectures
2. Providing guidance on data modeling, analysis, visualization, and implementation of data solutions
3. Estimating, tasking, and prototyping
4. Collaborating with cross-functional team members on software features, design, and implementation
5. Participating in end-to-end delivery of data consulting projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and exceeding client expectations
6. Investigating, learning, and applying new technologies and processes
7. Clarifying requirements with team and client representatives

'Must Have' Skills/Experience:

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Apache Spark
• Design and implementation experience with Azure and/or AWS Cloud Data Services
• Experience with Master Data Management, especially customer and reference data in financial services
• Proficiency in SQL
• Deep knowledge of data management, analytics, business intelligence, and related technologies
• Growth mindset and eagerness to learn
• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or equivalent

'Nice to Have' Skills/Experience:

• Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
• Knowledge of Talend, Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory
• Proficiency in Python or R
• Experience with data modeling or schema design
• Experience with Kafka or similar data streaming tools
• Financial Services industry experience
• Sales, pre-sales, or consulting experience
• Enthusiasm for Agile methodologies
• Master’s Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Computer Science (or equivalent)
