Salesforce Data Specialist /Data Engineer

Location: Montreal ideally, or remote in Canada

Contract: Long term

Hourly Rate: 55-70/H

Key requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in data integration, ETL processes, and SQL Server database management
• SSIS, T-SQL, and Salesforce CRM.
• Solid experience with Salesforce objects, schema, and API tools (e.g., Data Loader, Workbench).
• Experience with large-scale data migration projects and Salesforce deployments.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned data scripts.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Data Architecture)..
• Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning components is a plus.

Your new role

As a Salesforce Data Specialist, you will lead and support data migration, transformation, and integration efforts within the Salesforce ecosystem. Your responsibilities include designing and optimizing ETL processes, developing SSIS packages, cleansing and validating data, and collaborating closely with business analysts and Salesforce admins to deliver high-quality data solutions. You will also troubleshoot data issues, monitor SQL performance, and help enforce data governance and security policies.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in data integration, ETL processes, and SQL Server database management
• Proven hands-on experience with SSIS, T-SQL, and Salesforce CRM data models and API tools (e.g., Data Loader, Workbench)
• Strong skills in data cleansing, deduplication, validation, and transformation
• Experience with large-scale Salesforce data migration projects and deployments
• Ability to write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize data scripts for performance
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, Data Architecture) are a plus
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning components is advantageous
