We are recruiting for a Data Coordinator to join our Toronto Team.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Data Coordinator to join our team, who is inquisitive, knowledgeable, innovative, and analytical. The ideal candidate will have skills and experience in manipulating and extracting data from various sources, reporting, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Position summary

As a Data Coordinator, you will ensure the integrity and accuracy of data stored in our Risk database. Your responsibilities include data cleaning, manipulation, analysis, and presentation to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assess data quality and define business rules for handling source data.
  • Process large volumes of data monthly and quarterly for analysis.
  • Perform research, data analysis, and correlation on assigned topics using pre-existing datasets.
  • Address and resolve data questions, gaps, or misinformation.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Inspections, and other teams to evaluate systems, identify issues, and develop protocols for data handling.
  • Work with end-users to understand requirements, update on progress, validate solutions, and build relationships.
  • Refine workflows and reports based on evolving needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of operational experience.
  • Experience working with large datasets in Excel, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to create reports and explain workflows clearly.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
