Job summary

eStruxture Data Centers seeks a Manager of Data Center Operations to lead CAL-3’s day-to-day activities, directing technicians and infrastructure managers to guarantee safe, efficient performance of electrical, mechanical, security, and fire life safety systems.

You will develop SOPs, manage incidents, and guide continuous improvement while ensuring regulatory compliance and cost control. This role requires strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Calgary-based, on-site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in data center operations.
• Experience with mission-critical environments.
• Experience with budget management (CAPEX/OPEX).
• Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data center professionals to deliver world-class service.
• Oversee daily operations of electrical, mechanical, security, and fire safety systems.
• Drive efficiency in installations, service requests and remote hands support.
• Manage and resolve incidents, lead emergency response when needed.
• Develop and refine SOPs and maintenance strategies.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and a culture of safety.
• Monitor site capacity metrics and long-term planning.
• Support pre-sales efforts with site tours and RFIs/RFPs.
• Oversee OPEX & CAPEX budgets, ensuring cost control.
• Drive compliance with SOC2, ISO 27001, and related standards.
