Job summary

DataOne is seeking a Data Center Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities / Data Center Operations team in Vineland, NJ. The role covers installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems to support mission-critical data center operations.

The ideal candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS, generators, PDUs, CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, and cooling towers, while maintaining logs and ensuring

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related technical training preferred.
• 2+ years in facilities maintenance, data center ops, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of electrical systems (up to medium voltage), HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with UPS, generators, switchgear, and precision cooling systems.
• Able to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; strong troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical infrastructure (UPS, generators, PDUs, CRAC/CRAH).
• Maintain logs, work orders, and compliance records; support capacity planning.
• Operate and monitor BMS/DCIM platforms; coordinate with vendors for repairs.
• Follow safety protocols including LOTO; work in a 24/7 environment; on-call rotation.
