Job summary

Vantage Data Centers in Montreal (Pointe-Claire) is seeking an HVAC Technician, NA, to support our high‑performance data center. You will maintain critical mechanical and electrical systems, ensure uptime, and work with a team of technicians dedicated to reliability and safety.

The role requires experience with HVAC, industrial chillers, building controls, and electrical distribution, plus a focus on safety and documentation. On-site work with a strong customer‑service mindset is expected.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of maintenance/repair experience on industrial electrical and mechanical systems such as HVAC, chillers, UPS, and building controls.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical plans, single-line diagrams, and architectural drawings.
• Experience with the operation, maintenance, and testing of critical distribution systems and building automation equipment.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours, weekends, or on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical systems (HVAC, chillers, building controls, UPS, PDU, generators).
• Produce reliability and capacity reports to ensure 100% availability.
• Coordinate maintenance work with service providers and internal teams.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures and emergency procedures.
