Job Summary
Are you interested in contributing to the quality of life in Toronto by providing decision makers with sound evidence? As part of the Research and Analytics unit in the Policy and Strategic Planning Branch of P&R, you’ll join a team focused on turning data into actionable insights. You are a data analyst with strong statistical foundations and hands-on experience in preparing and analyzing large datasets in distributed environments. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll ingest, clean, analyze, and visualize data. You’ll also design dashboards and queries, automate recurring analyses, and maintain key performance indicators that guide strategic priorities. Additionally, in this role you will help grow our team’s data science capabilities and advance data-informed decision making across the division.
