Job Title: Data Analyst, Data Squad

Salary: $90,000 - 120,000

Location: Montreal - Hybrid (1-2 days at the office per week)

Position overview

Stay22 is a fast-growing, profitable Travel Tech scale-up based in Montreal. We enable content creators to monetize effectively while enhancing the travel experience through innovative solutions. Our data team supports stakeholders across departments, focusing on predictive modeling and AI to shape the future of travel technology.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and interpret data trends to inform strategic decisions and uncover growth opportunities.
• Facilitate collaboration between Data Squad and Engine Squad, leveraging ML models.
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Coordinate A/B tests and experiments.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide technical expertise.
• Build and maintain dashboards for key metrics.
• Train departments to perform their own analysis.
• Define and refine instrumentation tools and standards.
• Ensure data quality and implement QA processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience as an Analyst in analytics, data science, insights, strategy, or BI.
• Proven ability to derive insights and recommend business actions.
• Excellent communication skills for non-technical audiences.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Advanced Python knowledge.
• Understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
• Experience with A/B testing.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
