StackAdapt Senior Data Analyst Job Description

Based out of our Toronto office, you will be part of the Programmatic Partnerships & Business Solutions Team. As the Senior Data Analyst, you will provide quantitative analyses, market & industry expertise, and strategic recommendations to cross-functional teams within StackAdapt. You will articulate business questions, analyze large datasets to provide meaningful insights, and become a subject-matter expert on the programmatic landscape and supply-side dynamics.

What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Design and implement automated, scalable reporting infrastructure and analytics solutions.
  2. Build data pipelines and dashboards in collaboration with other analysts.
  3. Monitor, report, and review business metrics and supply quality, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on projects, providing customized KPIs to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  5. Perform deep-dive analyses to understand trends and anomalies, and define technical requirements for data processes.
  6. Design high-quality visualizations and reports, partnering closely with Inventory & Data Partnerships, Product Solutions, Platform Quality, Marketing, Engineering, and other teams.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • Strong scripting skills in SQL and Python, with experience extracting insights from large datasets.
  • Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar data warehouses.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau, Qlik, Looker, etc.
  • Experience working in Business Intelligence, Data, or Analytics teams, building predictive analytics solutions.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., finance, economics, statistics, math) with a strong academic record.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a quantitative or analytics-driven environment with knowledge of statistical techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical analyses to senior stakeholders.
