Salary: $90,000 - 120,000

Position Overview

Stay22 is a fast-growing, profitable Travel Tech scale-up based in Montreal. We enable content creators to monetize their content effectively while enhancing the travel experience through innovative solutions. Our technology simplifies travel-related searches, reaching over 100 million users monthly. Our Data team plays a crucial role across various departments including Finance, Customer Service, Sales, and Product. If you are passionate about predictive modeling and AI, join us to shape the future of travel technology.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data sets to inform strategic decisions and uncover growth opportunities.
2. Facilitate collaboration between Data Squad and Engine Squad, leveraging ML models developed by Data Squad.
3. Present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
4. Identify and coordinate A/B tests and experimental opportunities.
5. Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical expertise.
6. Build and maintain dashboards to track key metrics across the company.
7. Coach and train departments to perform their own analyses.
8. Participate in defining and refining instrumentation tools and standards.
9. Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness through QA processes.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field.
2. 3-5+ years of experience as an Analyst in analytics, data science, insights, strategy, or BI.
3. Proven ability in extracting insights and providing business recommendations.
4. Strong communication skills for conveying complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
5. Advanced proficiency in SQL.
6. Experience with data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau.
7. Expertise in data analysis and visualization software such as Excel or Google Sheets.
8. Advanced knowledge of Python.
9. Understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression, random forests).
10. Experience conducting A/B testing.
11. Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
12. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage resources effectively.
