Job summary

Randstad Digital in Canada seeks a Data Access Engineering Specialist to design, build, test, deploy, and sustain core data access products and governance frameworks within the IAM organization.

You will lead integration across on‑premise and cloud sources, connect with catalogs and security tools, and partner with technology leaders to modernize data governance while upholding strict access controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Informatics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in Data Access Governance.
• Minimum 3 years implementing Data Access Governance programs.
• Proven expertise in RBAC/ABAC/PBAC models and data access control solutions.
• Knowledge of Cloud Data Governance and Catalog tools, SSO, PAM, SIEM, DLP.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on design, construction, testing, deployment and support for Data Access Management products.
• Design, implement and maintain RBAC, ABAC and PBAC access control frameworks.
• Integrate data access solutions across on‑prem and cloud sources (mainframes, databases, SaaS, cloud).
• Connect access controls with Data Catalogs, SSO, PAM, SIEM, DLP and ticketing tools.
• Manage end-to-end Data Access Management lifecycle: discovery, classification, certification, remediation, analytics, reporting.
• Support governance capabilities: metadata management, data quality, compliance with data protection laws.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams and report progress to executives.
