Job summary

Nutreco, a global leader in animal nutrition and aquafeed, is seeking a Sales Representative in Ontario. You will develop and execute sales plans, build strong customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities to drive sustainable growth in aquaculture.

You will own your territory by proactively acquiring customers, delivering value-based solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in Business, Agriculture, Aquaculture, Animal Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and provide value-based solutions.
  • Experience managing a sales territory and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and provide customer and competitive insights.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans within your assigned territory, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities that support sustainable growth. You will take ownership of your territory by proactively acquiring new customers, providing value-based solutions, resolving customer concerns, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Through your market knowledge, product expertise, and consultative sales approach, you will help customers achieve their goals while contributing to Skretting's commitment to Feeding the Future.
