Job summary

Nutreco's Dairy Nutrition division is hiring a Dairy Sales Representative to join our growing Dairy Sales team and partner with an established and growing customer base of local dairy producers in Alberta. This role requires energy, passion for people and the dairy industry, and a commitment to exceptional customer care.

Work with the nutrition team to balance diets, maximize productivity, and provide on-farm consultation, build long-term partnerships, travel as needed to events, tradeshows, and

Qualifications

• Diploma or BSc in agricultural science or relevant degree.
• Industry experience in a customer-facing role is an asset, but training is available.
• Understanding of Western Canadian dairy operations and Alberta dairy industry.
• Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with dairy producers.
• Strong prioritization, time management, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and hold a Class 5 license.

Responsibilities

• Build committed, long-term partnerships with customers.
• Grow the business portfolio within the region.
• Provide on-farm nutrition consultation to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Support team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with industry professionals and producers.
• Provide strategic business planning input when requested.
• Represent Trouw Nutrition at customer events and conferences.
