Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth across the ruminant portfolio in Alberta. You will cultivate long-term partnerships with producers, veterinarians and feed channel partners while traveling about 60% of the time to meet customers.

The role requires a scientific or business background, 2+ years in animal health sales or 5+ years in agricultural science, and excellent MS Office skills. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or business field or equivalent sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in Animal Health or 5 years in Agricultural Science.
• Fluent English and proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales, profitability and market-share objectives across the territory and key accounts.
• Build trusted customer relationships using CVS and SAM approaches.
• Demonstrate technical knowledge of Elanco’s ruminant portfolio to diverse audiences.
• Analyze insights to identify business opportunities and support planning.
• Deliver meetings, training, seminars, and maintain CRM data; report adverse events.
