Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is seeking a talented and dynamic Part-Time Server Assistant to join our d|bar team. You will support the service team, clear tables, and help maintain exceptional guest experiences in a luxury setting.

The ideal candidate has Smart Serve certification, strong English communication, and an outgoing, can-do attitude. Open availability, Fridays to Sundays, and weekend shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Smart Serve certification is a must.
• 1 year Server Assistant/Bus Person experience preferred.
• English language proficiency; additional language is an asset.
• Able to lift up to 40lbs and work flexible shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers to provide an enjoyable dining experience per d|bar standards.
• Clear and reset tables quickly and thoroughly as required.

About the role:

d|bar by Chef Daniel Boulud is located in the historic Village of Yorkville, Toronto’s most luxurious shopping and dining district. With an impressive view of Yorkville Avenue, this lively cocktail bar in Toronto is the perfect place for a drink before or after your meal, or make d|bar the evening’s destination and choose from a menu of casual fare that’s ideal for sharing.

The Server Assistant aids the Server in providing an enjoyable, expertly served dining experience conforming to d|bar standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. The position clears tables and resets them neatly, rapidly and completely according to specification.

What you will bring:

We are looking for an individual who possesses an affinity for guest service! Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. The ability to perform this position to d|bar standards and learn the sequence of service is required. The position requires the ability to lift up to 40lbs and applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request!

Smart Serve certification is a must.

Additional preferred qualifications & skills:

• At minimum 1 year previous Server Assistant/Bus Person experience in a fast paced food and beverage operation
• Exceptional communication skills and command of English language
• Additional language a definite asset for career growth

The hourly wage for this role $17.60, plus gratuity.

Schedule & Hours:

Successful candidates possess open availability and the ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
