Aplin is seeking a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst to design and implement a cutting-edge government cybersecurity compliance program. You will shape governance, develop compliance frameworks, and ensure adherence to ITSP, CMMC, and NIST across Canada.

On-site roles across Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, or Vancouver offer an opportunity to influence defence contract readiness while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements in compliance programs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance and governance.
  • Experience with ITSP, CMMC, and NIST standards.
  • Experience working on government or defence-related compliance initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and lead compliance programs independently.

  • Lead efforts to implement and improve cybersecurity compliance programs for government contracts.
  • Identify compliance gaps and develop remediation plans.
  • Support audit and assessment processes with evidence management.

Take on a pivotal role as aCybersecurity Compliance Analystand lead the charge in building and implementing a cutting-edge government cybersecurity compliance program. Responsibilities
  • Design and architect comprehensive cybersecurity compliance frameworks aligned with government standards.
  • Lead efforts to implement and improve cybersecurity compliance programs tailored for government contracts.
  • Identify compliance gaps and develop strategic remediation plans.
  • Prepare and support audit and assessment processes, ensuring readiness and compliance evidence management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet requirements and ensure ongoing compliance; hold teams accountable for evidence collection.
  • Drive continuous improvements within the compliance program, supporting the organization's ability to secure government defence contracts.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance and governance.
  • Proven expertise with ITSP, CMMC, NIST standards, and designing compliance frameworks from scratch.
  • Experience working on government or defence-related compliance initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills capable of influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead compliance programs independently.
  • Preferred: experience with government contracting, the defence sector, or related standards.
