Ideal candidates have 10 years of cybersecurity experience, hands-on with market tools, knowledge of investigation procedures and adversary techniques; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; bachelor's in Engineering or Cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity and related roles.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools currently available in the market.
• Knowledge of network principles, cybersecurity concepts, investigation procedures, and adversary techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Soft skills: strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to CSS mailbox emails.
• Review rules and provide feedback.
• Escalate investigations based on Incident Score to the CSOC.
• Submit tuning requests to AUDC team when appropriate.
• Collaborate with CSOC and other teams as required.

Location: Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto)

Duration: 12 months

Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to investigate assigned offences on the SIEM. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

• Monitor and respond to emails sent to the CSS mailbox
• Based on the outcome of the investigation, if an opportunity for tuning is available, submit the
• request to the AUDC team. Monitor and respond to emails sent to the CSS mailbox
• Review rules and provide feedback
• Escalate the investigations based on the Incident Score to the other team, following the process and
• procedures established by the CSOC

Must-Have Skills:

• 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity and associated cybersecurity roles.
• Working experience with some of the cybersecurity tools available in the market today
• Working knowledge of various network principles, cybersecurity concepts, investigation procedures, and adversary techniques.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Previous FI

• Possesses advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills in English.
• Creative problem-solver with a customer-focused mindset.

Education:
