Job summary

FP Inc. is seeking a Data/Reporting Analyst to support root-cause analysis and post-incident reporting with clear data narratives in a Hybrid setting across Downtown Toronto.

In this role you will ingest and transform data from BigQuery, SQL Server, and CSVs using SQL and Python, build Power BI dashboards for CIAM fraud metrics, and deliver weekly insights decks with trend analyses and operational recommendations.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst or Reporting Analyst.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets.
• Practical experience with Power BI and building dashboards.
• Experience in Agile teams and tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Exposure to Python, BigQuery or similar cloud data warehousing.

Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Data/ reporting Analyst - SQL, Power BI, Fraud/ CIAM to support root-cause analysis and post-incident reporting with clear, concise data narratives. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

• Ingest and transform data from multiple sources (e.g., BigQuery, SQL Server, CSV) using SQL and Python.
• Build and maintain Power BI reports, and dashboards for CIAM fraud metrics, trends, and patterns across channels and geographies.
• Track and report CIAM KPIs and produce weekly/monthly insights decks with trend analysis and operational recommendations.
• Support root-cause analysis and post-incident reporting with clear, concise data narratives.

Must Have Skills:

Soft Skills Required:

• Detail‑oriented with strong communication skills and analytical thinking.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as computer science, engineering, technology, statistics, mathematics or a related field is required.
