Job summary

FP Inc. in Downtown Toronto (Hybrid) is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to investigate offences on the SIEM for a 12-month contract. The role involves monitoring alerts, reviewing rules, and collaborating with the CSOC and AUDC teams.

Ideal candidates have 10 years of cybersecurity experience, hands-on with market tools, knowledge of investigation procedures and adversary techniques; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; bachelor's in Engineering or Cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity and related roles.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools currently available in the market.
• Knowledge of network principles, cybersecurity concepts, investigation procedures, and adversary techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Soft skills: strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to CSS mailbox emails.
• Review rules and provide feedback.
• Escalate investigations based on Incident Score to the CSOC.
• Submit tuning requests to AUDC team when appropriate.
• Collaborate with CSOC and other teams as required.
