Hirevantis LLC is seeking an Entry-Level Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Security Operations team in Toronto, Ontario. You’ll monitor, detect, and respond to threats across systems and cloud services with mentorship from senior analysts and real incident work from your first month.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in vulnerability scanning, phishing response, and documentation while supporting audits and compliance efforts.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in cybersecurity, computer science, IT or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 0–2 years in IT, help desk, networking, or security (internships, labs, and personal projects count).
• Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs) and Windows/Linux.
• Understanding of common threats like phishing, malware, and ransomware.

Responsabilidades

Nice to have

• CompTIA Security+, Network+, ISC2 CC, or Google Cybersecurity Certificate
• Hands-on time with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Wireshark, or Nmap
• Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) or CTF/home-lab experience
