ENMAX Corporation is seeking a IT Cyber Security Co-op Student to join the Security Operations Team in Calgary on a hybrid schedule. The role focuses on cyber security awareness, phishing incident response, SIEM monitoring, and reporting cyber metrics while supporting vulnerability management and endpoint protection.

You must be enrolled in a post-secondary IT program and eligible to work in Canada; familiarity with PowerShell or Python is valued, and basic networking knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a post-secondary IT program (1st–4th year).
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Basic networking knowledge and MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cyber security awareness initiatives.
• Triage phishing emails and review SIEM alerts.
• Support cyber metrics development and reporting.
• Monitor digital threats via social media channels.
• Triage initial cyber security incidents and service requests.
• Document security monitoring processes.
• Assist with vulnerability management and remediation.
• Ensure endpoint protection solution compliance.
