Job summary

Wealthsimple Inc. is seeking a Team Lead, CXO Risk & Security to guide a frontline squad of CX Specialists in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will protect client assets, de-escalate high-stakes security inquiries, and develop talent across the team.

You will partner with InfoSec, Fraud Ops, and Compliance to close feedback loops and strengthen verification workflows, while driving strong performance and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years formal people leadership experience with measurable performance improvements.
• Practical understanding of retail fintech risk vectors (KYC/AML, identity verification, credentials, fraud).
• Demonstrated ability to de-escalate distressed or adversarial clients during security events.

Responsibilities

• Lead a frontline squad of 6–12 CX Specialists at the intersection of Client Experience, Platform Security, and Risk Ops.
• Actively manage intraday risk-channel volume to hit input targets and performance benchmarks.
• Monitor real-time patterns for threat surges and reallocate squad capacity accordingly.
• Serve as senior operational contact for complex fraud, social engineering, and AML red flags.
• Partner with InfoSec, Fraud Ops, and Compliance to improve frontline verification workflows and reduce vulnerabilities.
• Drive high performance through regular coaching and quarterly reviews.
