Energy Safety Canada is seeking a Customer Representative for a 1-year limited term, to support stakeholders with quick, accurate responses across phone, email, chat and in person.

The role requires strong communication and data-entry skills, comfort with multi-system use, and a friendly, patient approach in a high-volume environment; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months experience in a Contact Center or customer service role.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of office and Contact Center concepts, practices and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service with patience and professionalism.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and be reliable.
• Capable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Data entry experience is an asset.
• Familiarity with multiple computer systems and office devices.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, chat, and in person.
• Process requests following defined procedures with quality metrics and SLAs.
• Maintain customer data, including course certifications.
• Other duties as required.
